Meet Steph

A journey from pain to purpose

I bring over twenty years of lived experience navigating chronic pain, the medical system, and the complexities of prescription drug dependency. My own story has given me a deep, first-hand understanding of what it means to live with long-term pain, not only physical, but emotional and psychological too. 

After more than a decade of being passed from consultant to surgeon and caught in the cycle of prescribed painkillers that led from dependency to addiction, I made the difficult decision to step away from the conventional medical approach. It was a frightening time for me and my family, but with support and determination, it became the beginning of a profound journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation.

I trained at the ISOHH and am a qualified level 4 Somatic Therapist, continuing my studies throughout 2026/27

Finding a New Way Forward 

Through trauma-informed somatic practices, bilateral processing, and IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy, I learned to reconnect with my true self, manage pain more effectively, and process the layers of trauma held in my body. The work was raw, complex, and at times heartbreaking, but it led me to a place of strength, pride, and humility.

This path has taught me to honour both the resilience and vulnerability within us all. It has reignited my passion for life, restored my capacity for joy, and helped me find confidence, kindness, and a sense of play again.

Why I Do This Work

I believe that healing begins when we feel seen, safe, and supported to listen to the body’s own wisdom. My mission is to hold space for others to discover their strengths, reconnect with themselves, and experience the same deep, sustainable healing that changed my life.
